BloodWorks Ltd is a small, independent, not-for-profit organisation. Our aim is to provide evidence-led, high-quality health and fitness screening that is accessible, affordable, private, and confidential. We do not diagnose or treat; instead, we support you by providing information that enables informed decision-making about your health and fitness.

Our model is deliberately designed to keep costs low while maintaining uncompromising standards. Provision without profit means that any surplus is reinvested to strengthen quality, improve access, increase learning, and enhance delivery for the communities we serve

To ensure our services remain robust, current, and grounded in the best available evidence, we are supported by an Associate Steering Group (see below) comprising leading international colleagues across specialist areas of expertise. This group provides independent expert insight, helping to ensure our approach is designed by evidence, driven by outcomes, and delivered for the community, in the community.

We do not, and will not, compromise on quality, delivery, or our values.

I'm Joe, founder and (non-paid) Director of BloodWorks. I've been running clinics like this since 2009 but up until now, always for other people, organisations, local authorities and universities. I'm a REPs registered Fitness Professional (L3 Personal Trainer, Advanced Exercise and Fitness Knowledge, Client Lifestyle and Fitness Assessment) having  worked in the health and fitness sector for close to 20 years and in my day job I am a Senior Public Health Specialist.

Nav Khan

I'm Nav, (non-paid) Evidence into Practice Lead. For over 15 years my work was dedicated to supporting individuals with hormone related health concerns and I believe our specialist blood testing and screening is essential to maintaining health. Relying on standard tests or generic interpretations is simply not enough; it risks missing critical health markers and leaves individuals vulnerable.

I'm Tory and I am a registered nurse with a special interest in image and performance enhancing drugs, with a strong background in nursing and a focus on health promotion, I provide person-centred care including health assessments, bloodwork monitoring, safer use advice, and ongoing support tailored to each individual’s goals. My aim is to offer a non-judgemental and confidential space where clients feel comfortable discussing their health, enhancing their performance safely, and making informed decisions about their wellbeing.
